Associate Clinician

Emily Savage is an Associate Licensed Professional Counselor who graduated with her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of New Haven. She earned her Batchelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Maine.

Emily’s clinical experience comes from working directly with individuals navigating some of life’s toughest moments including trauma, anxiety, high-stress situations and life circumstances that call for a steady and compassionate presence. These experiences have taught Emily how to really listen, stay grounded no matter what’s in front of her and hold space for people even in their hardest seasons.

Emily utilizes a strengths-based approach to therapy using evidenced baed models including CBT, TF-CBT, Motivational Interviewing and DBT. She holds a collaborative, honest and free of judgment approach and enjoys working with clients throughout the lifespan including children, adolescents and adults. Emily supports individuals throughout a range of concerns including anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, ADHD, behavioral issues, family dynamics, low self esteem and life transitions.

Emily has a particular interest in working with athletes. She helps young athletes navigate performance anxiety, burnout, injury and return-to-play transitions, and the emotional weight of balancing sport with school, family, and social life.
